Boundary

Limiting information defines the panel boundary and can be references to other model entities or lines. The application stores panel boundaries using a cell model, where each cell represents a region of the panel geometry defined by its limits. The cell model specifies which region of the limited panel geometry to retain which makes the panel boundary definitions robust.

Note: This approach replaces the earlier method of storing a boundary point as the panel boundary definition. The application continues to support existing panels that use a boundary point. New panels use the cell model only.

The cell model stores information about each limit and indicates which side of the limit to retain when limiting the unbounded location surface. For more information, refer to Properties grid of a boundary.
