Display Shrinkage Compensation on a plate using Production Model Inspector

Prerequisite

• Add panel to Part Generation.

• Create automatic Shrinkage Compensation on a plate.

To display Shrinkage compensation on a plate you can use the Production Model Explorer.

1. On the Production tab in the Tools group, select Part Generation.

2. In the Model Explorer, select the element which includes the shrinkage information.

3. In the Part Generation window, select Add to populate the grid in the window.

4. In the grid, double-click the part to display the Production Model Inspector.

5. For Compare, select Initial from dropdown list.

6. For to, select Shrinkage from dropdown list.

7. Select the Shrinkage contour option.

8. Select the Shrinkage line option.

   The Shrinkage contour and line are displayed in the preview of the Production Model Inspector.

   

   You must zoom in to see the difference between Shrinkage contour and the plate.
