Use the functionality to create a new Pull Pit Branch element.
To create an new Pull Pit Branch

Select the Cabling System discipline.

In the Model Explorer, select the CWAY-PULL-PITTS-Area, in which a new Pull Pit Branch must be created.

On the Cabling System tab, in the Create area, select Pull Pit Branch function.

The Create Pull Pit Branch tab is displayed on one side of the application window

Create CWAY in this Zone
Displays the currently selected zone identified in the Model Explorer.
CWAY Name
Defines the name of the new Pull Pit Branch.
Cableway Branches
Defines the cable way branches attributes:

Diameter |
Specifies the diameter (default is displayed). |
|
Bend Radius |
Specifies the bend radius (default is displayed). |
|
Number |
Specifies the number of branches (vertical and horizontal) (default is displayed). |
|
Spacing |
Specifies the spacing (default is displayed). |
|
Overall Duct |
Specifies the overall duct size (default is displayed). |
No Tail Pull Pit/Junction Box
Use if only a head connection is required.
If you select the No Tail Pull Pit/Junction Box option, the Straight line distance option becomes available.
Straight line distance
Defines how long the head will extend from the head connection.
Manual Route
Manually modifies the route of the cable with defined route points.
If you select the Manual Route option the Route point tab becomes available and the some other options are displayed.

Note: When pull pit branches are routed between pull pits/junction boxes the route is automatically defined.
Cableway Head tab
Displays all cableway heads within the currently selected zone in the cableway head list (default).
Cableway Tail tab
Displays all cableway tails within the currently selected zone in the cableway tail list.
Pick Pull Pit or Junction Box in 3D View

Picks the required pull pit or junction box in the 3D view. |
Refresh List
|
|
Refreshes the cableway head/tail list. |
Head Direction
Automatically displays the head direction.
Head/Tail Position WRT Zone
If you selected the head/ teal position, the coordinates are automatically displayed, amend if required.
Offset Positions the head/tail position using an offset.
Lock Locks the co ordinates.
Pick New Head Position
Picks a new head/tail head position in the 3D view.
90 degree bends
Specifies that 90 degree bends are used where possible.
Route Points tab
By default, the Route Points tab is blank.

Route Point Position WRT Zone
Format
Explicitly positions the route point at E0, N0, U0 by default.

Identifies the pull pit branch WRT to the WORLD element in the Model hierarchy. |

WRT picked element |
|
Identifies an element in the current 3D graphical view. |

Pick Route Point Position |
|
Identifies the route point position in the 3D graphical view. |

Offset mode |
|
Sets Offset mode. |
|

|
Returns form Offset mode. |

Lock |
|
Locks the coordinate entry. |

Unlocks the coordinate entry. |

Add before
Adds the route point before the currently selected element in the Route Point grid.
Add After
Adds the route point after the currently selected element in the Route Point grid.
Replace
Replaces the currently selected element in the Route Point grid with a newly identified route point.
Remove
Removes the route point from the 3D view.
Mark all route points
Defines the use of rout points.
If you select the Mark all route points check box, the application identifies route points in the 3D view and labels it.
If you do not select the Mark all route points check box, the application does not consider the identification of the route points.
