Destination

Imports the STD file and creates the idealized model. The ISTRU element, used to contain the idealized model in AVEVA E3D Design, can be selected. The idealized model revision number can be defined using overwrite settings.

Import ISTRU

Defines the ISTRU element for the idealized model.

Type a unique name for the ISTRU element.

Alternatively, use ADD CE to add the currently selected ISTRU element.

If the ISTRU element does not exist, a Confirm window displays, asking to confirm the creation of a new ISTRU element.

The ISTRU element is created in the first writable IDLWLD element. if there are no IDLWLD elements in the database, the SAI automatically creates one in the current database, if possible.

Physical Model

Defines the referenced FRMW element for the idealized model.

When Import ISTRU is set, the Physical Model field is automatically populated using the first reference in the IDLRFA attribute of the ISTRU element. The FRMW element references the AVEVA E3D Design structural model.

The referenced FRMW element name can be modified by typing the name directly into the field.

Alternatively, use ADD CE to add the currently selected FRMW element.

Note:
The FRMW element is only used as a place holder to create new GENSEC or PANE elements that do not already exist in the AVEVA E3D Design structural model. Modifications are made directly on the GENSEC or PANE in the AVEVA E3D Design structural model.

Overwrite Last Import

The idealized model revision numbers are automatically controlled. The revision number of the ISTRUR element is set to 0 when first created.

Select the check box to overwrite the most recent revision of the idealized model.

Deselect the check box to create a new revision of the idealized model, incremented by one.

Import

Imports the STD file and creates the idealized model. The idealized model displays in the 3D view.

Graphical Aids

Select the Inodes radio button and click Display to display the graphical aids for INODE elements in the 3D view.

Select the Isects radio button and click Display to display the graphical aids for ISECT elements in the 3D view.

Select the Ipanes radio button and click Display to display the graphical aids for IPANE elements in the 3D view.

Click Clear to remove the graphical aids from the 3D view.

Undo Idealized Import Model Creation

Undoes the creation of the idealized model. You are returned to the Source part of the SAI Import Form window, all previous import idealized model actions are removed.
