Create Cover

You can create a cover over one or more sections of a conveyor and modify each section independently. If required, you can create gaps in a length of cover by removing individual sections.

1. Click the conveyor.

2. Click Cover in the Create group on the Mining tab.
   The Create Conveyor Covers window is displayed:
   

3. Select a cover type from the Cover Type list.
   The available cover types are determined by specifications in the Catalog.

4. Click Pick Start. On the conveyor, click the point at which to start the cover.
   Alternatively, specify a distance in the Distance to Start field. This is the distance from the start of the cover to the start of the conveyor.

5. Click Pick End. On the conveyor, click the point at which to end the cover.
   Alternatively, specify a distance in the Distance to End field. This is the distance from the end of the cover to the end of the conveyor.

6. Specify the length of each piece of cover.

7. Specify the cover's height above the belt.

8. Specify the thickness of the cover.

9. Click Create.
