Piping

You can view the current data checking parameters for piping by selecting Piping on the Data Consistency Check window to display the Piping Consistency Check Options window with the current settings shown.

The Tolerances allowed between adjacent piping components can be specified by any of three related settings:

Angle |
The displacement Angle between their p-arrive and p-leave axes. |

Offset |
The Offset distance between their p-arrive and p-leave axes. |
|
Ratio |
The Ratio of the offset to the projected distance between the p-arrive and p-leave axes (equivalent to the tangent of the Angle parameter). |

Max angle |
Maximum angle for pulled bends and elbows. |

Check attachment points |
The Check attachment points check box switches attachment point (ATTA) check On and Off. ATTA check can be switched off if you have ATTAs which are not predefined in the model. |

Check flange alignment geometry |
Controls the checking of zdir on flanged components. |
Click Tube Range to display the Tube Tolerance Check Options window on which you can set the minimum length of tube for a given diameter.

Click OK to confirm the changes, click Reset to reset the window back to original settings or click Cancel to cancel the window and return to the Piping Consistency Check Options window.
On the Piping Consistency Check Options window click OK to confirm the changes, Default to reset to default settings, click Reset to reset to original settings when the window was first opened or Cancel to discard any changes and exit the window.
