The 3D View

Displays a 3D view for the assembly and manipulation of design elements to populate drawing sheets.

You can examine the content of the drawings in 3D view, before establishing the view content as a 2D drawing.

However, the 3D view window also offers powerful facilities to enable the manipulation of 2D drawings.

By default, the Model Explorer and the Format 3D tab (refer to Format 3D Tab for further information) display when a 3D view is opened.

When an element is selected in the 3D view, it is highlighted in the Model Explorer and vice versa.

Note:
The display of elements in the 3D view can be modified using the Graphics Settings window. Refer to Graphics Drawlist for further information.
