Modify Idler

In the Modify Idlers window, you can specify, for any section of a conveyor:

• The distance between the idlers, and whether the distance is measured from the first idler.

• The type of idlers

1. On the Mining tab, in the Modify group, select Idlers to display the Modify Idlers window, with the Idler Spacing tab selected.

   

2. From the Belt dropdown list, select the section of idlers to modify.
   The Idlers list displays Return Idlers or Carry Idlers, depending on your selection in the Belt list.

3. Select two or more idlers in the 3D view and select Selection from the Idlers list.

4. Specify the distance between the idlers.

5. Select From first idler or From previous idler.
   From first idler applies the spacing from the first idler in the section. From previous idler, applies the spacing from the last idler in the previous section.

6. Select Idler Type and select the required type of idler from the Type dropdown list.
   The available types are determined by catalog rules.

7. Select Apply.
