Name Conventions

Sets the mandatory and optional naming conventions that are required for the application to function correctly. Functionality is also available to set the name delimiters.

Mandatory Names

Names the elements which must be named in order for the application to function correctly: DEPT, REGI, DRWG, SHEE, VIEW and REGION. For example, drawing numbers typically have a common project related prefix, which are input, in the Prefix field for the drawing element.

Name Delimiters

Sets the delimiter characters for created DLLB, RPLB and LALB.

Optional Names

Names the elements which do not need to be named for the application to function: VNOT, NOTE, RRUL and VSEC. Leave the Prefix field empty to specify the created elements are not named. Use the Active check box to specify whether or not the user can override the naming conventions. The active function is available for optional names only.
