Create Model Visual Layer

Creates a model visual layer.

The Create Visual Layer window is similar to the Hierarchy Browser window. Refer to Hierarchy Browser for further information.

Browse the hierarchy to select the visual library element that the new model visual layer is to be created under. Input a name in the Name field, or leave it blank if the model visual layer is to be assigned a name automatically.

To open a drop-down menu consisting of elements that can be created at the current level, click New above the left-hand part of the window.

The icon above the right-hand part of the window is used to specify whether model visual layers display as thumbnails, a simple list, or a list with details.

Click Create to create the new model visual layer. The new model visual layer is then created and added to the Global Model Visual Layers list in the Model Visual Layers window.

Click Cancel to discard any changes and close the Create Visual Layer window.
