You can put restrictions on what type of assemblies that can be owned by another type of assemblies utilizing sub-typing based on UDETs. These restrictions are considered when defining or changing the assembly structure. Example of restricted assembly structure based on types defined in Lexicon. Type assembly of type ASM1 allow assembly of type ASM2 as member while ASM3 is the only allowed member to ASM2. ASITEM is a required member to allow design parts being collected to assembly.
