General ADP Defaults

Sets the general ADP defaults.

The General ADP Defaults window allows you to restrict ADP user access, set the annotation processing order and define representation rulesets.

Restrict USER access

Select the check box to prevent users from modifying defaults files from user windows.

When the check box is selected, the user can modify some defaults from the Modify User Defaults window which is accessible to members of the DRAWADMIN team.

Annotation Processing Order

Input the order in which the different types of annotation are processed. The default is order is 3 2 1.

Representation

Ruleset

Input a value in the field to define the Representation Ruleset.

If the standard Representation Rulesets are required, input Standard in the field.

Click CE to identify the currently selected Representation Ruleset as the working element.

Select Insert After from the drop-down list to insert the Ruleset after the selected Ruleset in the Ruleset list.

Select Insert Before from the drop-down list to insert the Ruleset before the selected Ruleset in the Ruleset list.

Select Copy from the drop-down list to copy the selected Ruleset in the Ruleset list.

Select Replace from the drop-down list to replace the selected Ruleset in the Ruleset list.

Select Cut from the drop-down list to remove the selected Rule from the Dimension Rules list.

ADD Volume Drawlist Rules

Type

Input a value in the field to define the type of item that the volume add drawlist rule is applied to.

Rule

Allows you to create any rules needed to control which elements are added to drawlists defined by volume. As supplied, all elements within the volume are added, but elements of type PIPE that are owned by a zone with function set to heating or electrical are removed.

Input a value in the field to define the add volume drawlist rule for the specified item type.

Select Insert After from the drop-down list to insert the Rule after the selected Rule in the ADD Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Select Insert Before from the drop-down list to insert the Rule before the selected Rule in the ADD Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Select Copy from the drop-down list to copy the selected Rule in the ADD Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Select Replace from the drop-down list to replace the selected Rule in the ADD Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Select Cut from the drop-down list to remove the selected Rule from the ADD Volume Drawlist Rules list.

REMOVE Volume Drawlist Rules

Type

Input a value in the field to specify the type of item that the remove volume drawlist rule is applied to.

Allows you to create any rules needed to control which elements are removed from drawlists defined by volume. As supplied, all elements within the volume are added, but elements of type PIPE that are owned by a zone with function set to heating or electrical are removed.

Input a value in the field to define the remove volume drawlist rule for the specified item type.

Select Insert After from the drop-down list to insert the Rule after the selected Rule in the REMOVE Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Select Insert Before from the drop-down list to insert the Rule before the selected Rule in the REMOVE Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Select Copy from the drop-down list to copy the selected Rule in the REMOVE Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Select Replace from the drop-down list to replace the selected Rule in the REMOVE Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Select Cut from the drop-down list to remove the selected Rule from the REMOVE Volume Drawlist Rules list.

Click OK to apply the settings or Cancel to discard any changes and close the ADP Defaults - General window.
