Import

Import of parts can be made using two formats:

• DXF (Plates)

• NC-DSTV (Plates and Profiles)

By activating this function, an import dialog is displayed:

Before the imported parts are saved, it is possible to modify their basic data like Name, Position Number, Thickness, Steel quality, Long and Short ID, Assembly and Work Package.

It is possible to use a repetition term for Name and Long ID to create multiple parts of the same imported file.

Acceptable repetition term has the following format:

<start>(<step>)<end>

Example:

10(2)20 -> 6 parts will be created -> Name (or Long ID): 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20
