CTYSTART CTYEND
Description
Section ends which have been connected in the structure have their CTYS (Start Connection Type) and CTYE (End Connection Type) attributes set such that they match those of the Joints to which those ends are connected. This is done by setting CTYS/CTYE to a word which matches the Joint’s CTYA attribute in the Catalog; refer to Catalogs and Specifications for further information.
These attributes are set automatically when a Section is connected and the user will not usually need to set them specifically.

CTYS BOLT |
The Section’s start is to be connected to its attached Joint by means of bolts. (The CTYA of the Joint must also be set to BOLT for a compatible connection; refer to Data Consistency Checking for further information). |
