The Publish to AVEVA ERM window is populated with a tabbed page for each selected row from the Settings window. The tabbed page is populated with the elements that satisfy the publishing criteria (considering the element type, defined mapping and publishing status) in the StandardMaterial grid. The Preview of data to be published grid is populated with the details of the element.
Note:
For more detailed information about setting up AVEVA ERM integration, refer to the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management-Design Integration
User Guide for AVEVA E3D Design.
Select an element in the StandardMaterial grid to view its details in the Preview of data to be published grid.

Use Refresh to refresh the StandardMaterial grid or use Publish to publish the selected element to AVEVA ERM.
Note:
During the transfer of data, AVEVA ERM rejects the import of data if any mandatory fields are not set. To avoid publishing
of invalid data, and to ensure successful publishing of data to AVEVA ERM, a pre-validation is performed in AVEVA E3D Design before publishing the data to AVEVA ERM.
Prevalidation
The prevalidation checks for any errors and warnings in a similar way as AVEVA ERM would if such data were to be transferred, and displays the errors in red and warnings in amber. The Error and Warning messages are displayed as tooltips when hovered over.

The following points must be noted regarding the errors and warnings found during the pre-validation:
-
Data with errors cannot be published; the errors must be corrected before publishing the data to AVEVA ERM.
-
Though data with warnings can be published to AVEVA ERM, the import may fail. Therefore, the warnings must also be fixed before importing the data into AVEVA ERM. Data sent with a warning is rejected by AVEVA ERM import unless the referred data is not first imported into AVEVA ERM.
