The Cost for Processing a Single Picture (SHEE Element)
The actual amount of credits deducted from the User’s credits pool for the processing of a single picture (SHEE element) is defined in a credit agreement in the clients CONNECT contract. The credit agreement is defined when the AVEVA E3D Whitespace Optimizer solution is enabled to the Customer. For the following description of the charging mechanism, the term CPS (Credits Per Sheet) is defined as a basic charging unit for a single picture processing.
The Conditions when a User is being Charged
A CPS amount will be consumed from the User's credits pool when the User launches the AVEVA E3D Whitespace Optimizer to process a single picture and gets at least one result generated for that picture by the AVEVA Cloud Computation back-end service.
The Conditions when a User is not being Charged
A User will not be charged for using AVEVA E3D Whitespace Optimizer if he stops the optimization while the picture is being processed and the result hadn't been generated by the time the operation terminates.
A User will not be charged also when he starts the AVEVA E3D Whitespace Optimizer to process a heavy computational picture and he will not get a single result back before the computation timeout is reached.
Undesired Internet Connection Failure
In case of an internet connection failure, when the AVEVA E3D Whitespace Optimizerhas been started and the connection with AVEVA Cloud Computation back-end service cannot be established again, the User will be charged only if the AVEVA Cloud Computation session produces at least one result. In that case, a user can raise a ticket to apply for a refund.
