Create Automatic Baseplates

Functionality is available to automatically create baseplates at end datum section ends. There must be at least one automatic baseplate specification and the Automatic Joint Selection option on the Fluent UI must be turned on, refer to Automatic Joint Selection for further information.

You are prompted to Select section end(s) or <Finish>

Click to identify the section end(s) to associate with baseplates.

Press the down arrow key and select Finish to end the command. The baseplates are created and display in the 3D view.

Note:
If there are no automatic baseplate specifications, or the Automatic Joint Selection option on the Fluent UI is turned off, the End Datum window displays which allows you to select the baseplate using the standard specifications.

Automatic baseplates specifications can be modified using the Joint List window. Refer to Automatic Joint and Baseplate Selection State for further information.
