Use the Position Through part of the Piping Component Editor window to adjust the position of a component.

Position through branch head |
Aligns a component through the branch head. |
|
|
Position through previous element |
Aligns a component through the previous component of the branch assembly. |
|
|
Position current element (align with previous) |
Aligns a component with the previous component of the branch assembly. |
|
|
Position through next component |
Aligns a component through the next component of the branch assembly. |
|
|
Position through branch tail |
Aligns a component through the branch head. |
|
|
Position through a cursor pick |
Initiates the same functionality as that available from the Align with Feature on the Model Editor Handle. Refer to Positioning Control for further information. |

Position With Offset ON/OFF |
This is a toggle button to specify whether to align a component with or without an offset. Note:

Distance - Click to use Clearance |
Displays the actual clearance, to change the clearance input a new value into the text field then press Enter. To modify the distance, click the Distance - Click to use Clearance toggle. |

Distance - Click to use Distance |
Displays the actual distance from the previous component, to change the distance input a new value into the text field then press Enter. |
|
|
Copy current component |
Copies the currently selected component. |
|
|
Connect to previous component |
Connects the piping component to the previous piping component. |
