Export Idealized Model

The SAI creates an idealized model of the structural elements to be sent to Staad Pro for analysis. The STD file is then created from the idealized model.

On the Interfaces tab, in the Structures group, click Analysis Interface and select SAI Export from the drop-down menu to display the SAI Export Form window.

The SAI Export Form window is displayed as a dockable window, initially docked at the right hand side of the screen.

All the tasks that are associated with the export of idealized model data are available for selection from a central window, which acts as a task hub. A series of windows are presented (progressive disclosure), prompting for input. The Source window is always the initial window.
