Equipment Spatial Associations

The Equipment Associations utility allows geometrical constraints to be applied between Equipment and its surroundings for subsequent design checking. An Equipment Association is a design rule that can be checked by the system. The system reports success if a design constraint is satisfied by the model, otherwise it reports a failure.

It provides the ability to create, modify, delete and view details of Equipment Associations. Use the separate utility, called the Association Manager, to view these associations. Refer to Association Manager for further information.
