This is a reference section for how the group models are stored and their content. Process simulation models require a different structure to that of conventional E3D models and APSI models use a Hybrid database structure utilizing Equipment and Sub Equipment elements to store the various group Elements.
Each group is defined as a single Equipment within a zone which belongs to an Application Data AREA (APPLDA) A collection of APSI groups would be stored in one or more Application Worlds (APPLDW)
The purpose of Application Data Worlds and their hierarchy is to allow different sorts of model data including 3D models to be stored in the database without being subject to clash checks, volume and weight calculations as part of the main model.
The structure of an APSI model is as follows:
|
Model Group |
= EQUIPMENT |
|
PipeSet |
= SUBE |
|
BranchMem |
= SUBE |
|
NodeSet |
= SUBE |
|
BranchList |
= SUBE |
|
RemovedSet |
= SUBE |
