Wildcards in SKEYs

You can use the * character as a wildcard to define a symbol for several similar SKEYs. For example:
SKEY ’VB**’
The command illustrates the use of the ** characters to cover all end conditions. For example, BW (butt weld), CP (compression), SW (socket weld), FL (flanged), SC (screwed) and PL (plain), when defining a new range of SKEYs. The sequence therefore defines the SKEYs VBBW, VBCP, VBSW, VBFL, VBSC and VBPL in a single operation.
Note:
The wildcard option applies only to the definition of SKEYs. You must specify a particular end condition when you set the SKEY attribute of a DTEX element
in the Catalogue DB; for example, by setting it to VBBW or VBCP but not to VB**.
