Set up and Manage PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP or GIF Export Settings

You can define multiple export configuration sets to store settings for the export of drawings to an image file. You can add, modify, copy or delete export configuration sets.
On the Project tab, select Export Settings, select Export to PNG/JPEG/TIFF/BMP/GIF from the Select Export Type drop-down list to display the PNG/JPEG/TIFF/BMP/GIF File Export Settings window.
The list of configuration sets displays the available export configuration sets. Select a configuration set to display the settings. Non-editable configuration sets are indicated with a Lock icon.
Many of the options available when exporting to an image file are available when exporting to a DGN file or a PDF file (refer to Set up and Manage DGN Export Settings and Set up and Manage PDF Export Settings for further information), except the following options.

Image type |
Allows you to define the exported file type. Click the arrow icon to display a drop-down list.
Select PNG to export to a portable network graphics file. Select BMP to export to a bitmap image file. Select TIFF to export to a tagged image file format. Select JPG to export to a JPEG image format. Select GIF to export to a graphics interchange format. |

Specify picture resolution |
Allows you to define the picture quality. Click the arrow icon to display a drop-down list.
The picture can be exported at 50, 100 or 150 pixels per inch. |

Custom Resolution |
Select the check box to export the image with a custom dots per inch resolution. Input a DPI value in the field, the valid range is from 5 to 600 DPI. |
