Modify SLR Widget Position

Modifies the position of a single line representation widget along the GENSEC.

You are prompted to Provide design geometry for SLR edit operations.

Note:
The prompt does not display if the GENSEC is already selected in the Model Explorer.

Click to identify the SLR widget to be modified.

If the selected element is not a GENSEC containing SLR geometry, a user message displays indicating that the element cannot be modified.

You are then prompted to Select type of modification or <Distance>

Input D at the prompt and press Enter.

You are then prompted to Modify single line widget distance or <Length>

Input a value in the dimension field and press Enter or click to identify the new location of the widget. The distance is measured from the center point of the widget.

You are then prompted to Select type of Modification or <Length>

Input F at the prompt to end the command.

Throughout the widget modification process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Distance

Press the down arrow key and select Distance to modify the SLR widget position.

Length

Press the down arrow key and select Length to modify the SLR widget length. Refer to Modify SLR Widget Length for further information.

Back

Press the down arrow key and select Back to undo the last action.

Reset

Press the down arrow key and select Reset to revert the SLR widget geometry to the original state prior to modification.A Delete window displays asking you to confirm the removal of the associated RRUL element. Click Yes to delete the RRUL element.

Finish

Press the down arrow key and select Finish to end the command.

The new RRUL element displays in the Draw Explorer under the VIEW element.

Partial update design functionality is used to update the SLR widget position. Refer to Partial Update Design for further information.
