Laser Reference

The Laser Model Interface (LMI) is a separately licensed module for the AVEVA Plant and AVEVA Marine products. Used in conjunction with a supported Laser Model server application, it allows:

• the display of Laser Models within AVEVA E3D Design/Outfitting, combined with normal AVEVA E3D Design/Outfitting geometry

• clashing calculations between Laser Models and AVEVA E3D Design/Outfitting geometry, and display of the resulting clashing regions

• picking of points within Laser Models, and creating "tie-in" points between Laser Models and geometry

• implementation of third party defined extended functionality.
