The member numbers used to define property or material can be defined in a few different ways. On export from AVEVA E3D Design, the member numbers are defined individually.
MEMBER PROPERTY BRITISH
71 72 73 74 75 76 77 78 79 80 81 82 83 84 85 86 87 88 89 90 TABLE ST TUB1501005.0
On export from Staad Pro, member numbers can be output in various different formats:
-
Individually
-
As a sequence of member numbers
-
As groups
-
As a combination
For example, a group _TUBE defined with members 71 to 88.
MEMBER PROPERTY BRITISH
71 TO 90 TABLE ST TUB1501005.0
_TUBE 89 90 TABLE ST TUB1501005.0
If new members are created in the model, these formats are maintained on subsequent exports. If new members are introduced that fit into a sequence of numbers, the new numbers are added to the sequence. For example:
71 TO 100 TABLE ST TUB1501005.0
If new members are introduced that don’t fit into the sequence of numbers, they are output in the same format. For example:
71 TO 90 100 TO 110 TABLE ST TUB1501005.0
Or
_TUBE 89 90 100 TO 110 TABLE ST TUB1501005.0
If members are deleted from a sequence, the export numbers are maintained on export.
For example, members 63, 64 and 65 are no longer in the model because the GENSEC was deleted, the output is:
71 TO 62 66 TO 90 TABLE ST TUB1501005.0
