Create Clipping Box

Current Selection

Select from the drop-down list to create a clipping box with limits defined from a selection of elements.

Current Element

Select from the drop-down list to create a clipping box with limits defined from the currently selected element.

Define Volume

Select from the drop-down list to create a clipping box with limits defined from:

• An explicitly defined origin and dimensions

• Two selected points

• Three selected points

• Four selected points

• The local coordinate system as the origin.

Clip

Click to turn clipping on or off. When clipping is applied, only the elements within the clipping box display in the 3D view.
