Rotates an element through a specified angle about a specified axis.

Element |
The CE is displayed, if required use one of the following options to select a different CE. |

CE |
Navigate to the required element in the Model Explorer. |

|
Collection |
You must have a defined collection containing the elements that needs to be rotated and it must be the current collection. |

Pick |
When prompted, use the cursor to pick the element in a graphical view. |
|||||||||
|
Angle |
Enter the Angle (in degrees), the angle setting is determined relative to the Rotation Axis. |

|
Direction |
The Direction gives the axis in which the object rotates. The distance the rotated object is from the center of the axis is determined by the figure in the East/North/Up text boxes. Select the Lock check box to lock the selected direction. |

Format |
Sets default coordinates. Refer to Coordinates for further information. |

WRT |
The With Respect To (WRT) field can be used to define an element from which the coordinates are derived.
The name of the required element can be modified explicitly; other options are also available:

Pick Position |
Click to populate the coordinates fields with position values measured from a picked position in the 3D view. |
|||||||||
|
Offset |
Click Offset to modify the position of the coordinates by an offset measured from the original position. Click Return from offset mode to exit the offset display.

To specify the plane by reference to existing design items, use the Cursor or Intersection menu options. Refer to Copy with Rotation for further information.
Click Apply to apply the rotate settings on the selected element. Click Cancel to discard any changes and to exit the Rotate window.
