Session Comment

  • Last UpdatedAug 14, 2025

Each time you do a Save Work or module switch, a new session is created for each of the databases you have modified. The session number, user name and current date are stored against each session. You can add a session comment on the Savework / Session Comment window.

To add a session comment, click in the Session Comment text pane and type the comment. You can click - or + to move backwards and forwards through the sessions. Any comments added are displayed in the Session Comment text pane. Click Current to display the details for the current session.

Note:
For any database, Session 1 is when the database is created, Session 2 is when the World is created and Session 3 is the first user session.

On the Manage tab, in the History group, click DB Listing to display the Database Listing window. You can compare the current data with that at some previous session or date, and query the session in which given attributes and elements changed. Refer to DB Listing for further information.
