Label Placement

Repositions crowded areas of labelling, minimizing label overlap and leader-line crossing. In addition to changing label positions, label placement may also be used to change label orientations, text justification, alignment, and the definition of leader line shapes.
Note:
If no element has been selected, you are prompted to select an element before the
Intelligent Label Placement window displays.

Click to identify the currently selected view as the working element. |

Add |
Select the option button to add labels to the drawing. |

Remove |
Select the option button to remove labels from the drawing. |
|
CE's Labels |
Click to select an individual label or all labels in the current layer or view. |
|
Owner's Labels |
Click to select all labels for the owner of the CE. |

List |
Click to display the Select List window. Refer to Select List for further information. |
|
Clear |
Click to clear the current selection. |

ID Label |
Click to select a series of labels. You are prompted to Select Element |
|
ID Design |
Click to select a series of labels attached to the identified design element. You are prompted to Select Element |
|
2D Window |
Allows you to select all the labels within a cursor defined window. Click to display the Point Construction Option Form window. You are prompted to Input 2 point(s) on a sheet |

Position |

Remote |
Allows you to place labels around the view border. Select the check box and click Definition to display the Remote Label Placement window. Refer to Remote Label Placement for further information. |

Local |
Allows you to place labels around significant design elements. Select the check box and click Definition to display the Local Label Placement window. Refer to Local Label Placement for further information. |
Click Apply to confirm the intelligent label placement settings or Cancel to discard any changes and close the Intelligent Label Placement window.
