Part Generation is the link between design and production. It consists of 3 main functionalities:
-
Extracting the panel data from the design model
-
Processing the data so that it is usable for production purposes
-
Storing the part data into the manufacturing database

Add
Extracts the information from a currently selected element and adds it into Part Generation grid.
In the Model Explorer, select a zone or panel. Then select Add. Alternatively you can drag an element from the Model Explorer into Part Generation window.
Hide/Show buttons
Displays the extracting result. Tree buttons allow you to show or hide a specific part type, depending on the result.
If you select a button for the first time, the application changes the button color to a lighter shade and hides corresponding parts in the Part Generation grid. If you select the same button again, the application changes the button color to a darker shade and shows the corresponding parts in the Part Generation grid again.
