Processes Stress Group data prior to writing the data to file (for the CAESAR II software), and after receiving returned data from the CAESAR II software.

The user can view and navigate to individual nodes within the selected Stress Group, and change the numbering order if necessary.

Edit Nodes

Displays the Node Details window.

Check Group

Checks the Stress Group for any errors. Refer to Check Stress Group for Errors for further information.

Write Data to File

Processes the Stress Group data before the creation of a CAESAR II Neutral file. Refer to AVEVA E3D Design to CAESAR II for further information.

Edit Return Nodes

Edits the nodes returned from the CAESAR II software. Refer to Edit Return Nodes for further information.

Read Stress File

Opens XML data converted within the CAESAR II software. Refer to CAESAR II to AVEVA E3D Design for further information.

Clash Check Load Case

Clash checks load case models. Refer to Clash Checks for further information.

Node Details

At the bottom left of the Node Details window there is a Display Format area with two radio buttons.

All Nodes

Displays both active and inactive nodes

Active Nodes

Displays active nodes.

Renumber Nodes

Displays the Node Renumbering window.

Node Attributes

Displays the Node Number Array window.

Renumber Nodes

Displays the Nodes for the selected Stress Group in numerical order.

To renumber a Node, it must be highlighted before it can be given a new number in the New Number box.

Select Update Numbers to view the changes and select Apply to save the changes.

If a number already exists for a node, a Confirm window is displayed. Click Yes to renumber the nodes or No to cancel the change.

This action will renumber all subsequent nodes according to the increment value in the Increment box.

Single

renumbers a single node. Select the appropriate node in the list and enter a new node number in the New Number text box. Select Update Numbers to view the changes and then select Apply to save the changes.

Cascade

renumbers nodes so that all subsequent nodes are renumbered according to the increment value in the Increment text box. Select Update Numbers to view the changes and then select Apply to save the changes.

To reset all nodes to their original node number, click Reset.

To exit the Node Renumbering window, click Dismiss.

Node Attributes

To check the attributes of nodes, select the node and click Node Attributes.

Note:
In this instance, only the weight can be changed as the other attributes are fixed values. Values of zero can be the cause of data inconsistency errors, refer to Check Stress Group for Errors.

To accept the changes, click Apply. To exit the Node Attributes ARRAY window, click Dismiss.

To discard any inputs and close the Node Details window, click Dismiss.
