Add Text Frame to Dimensions

Adds a visible text frame to dimensions. The functionality is available for all dimension types.
The Frame properties of dimensions can be modified using the Properties window. Refer to Properties for further information.

Dim Text Frame Sides Visibility |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the visible text frame from the visual style. Select the visible sides from the drop-down list to define the display of the visible text frame. For example, select Bottom Left to display a visible text frame below and left of the dimension text.

Dim Text Frame Colour |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the text frame colour from the visual style. Select the colour from the drop-down list to define the colour of the visible text frame. Alternatively, enter an RGB color using the format R 100 G 200 B 255. For example, select Colour 7 Blue to display a blue text frame.

Dim Text Frame Line Style |
Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the text frame line style from the visual style. Select the line style from the drop-down list to define the line style of the visible text frame. For example, select 8002 Dashed [Thin] to display a dashed text frame.

Select By Style from the drop-down list to inherit the text frame size from the from the visual style. Input a dimensional value or select from the drop-down list to define the size of the visible text frame. The text frame distance is measured from the edge of the text. For example, select 3mm to insert a 3mm gap between the edge of the text and the text frame.

To add a visible text frame to an individual dimension text element, modify the Frame properties using the Vertex Editor window.
