Prerequisite
-
The limits are defined by a stiffener. For further information, see Create panel limited by stiffener and by plane.
-
The panel and stiffener have the same location plane.
You can add an overlap to defined limit using the Properties grid.
-
On the Home tab, in the Display group, select Properties to display the Properties grid.

-
In the Model Explorer on the panel defined by limits, expand IBNDRY to display the defined limits.

-
Select a limit which is defined by the stiffener to display the properties of the limit in the Properties grid. In this example, it is ILIM 1.

-
Select Adjustments.
-
Select the arrow icon to display the dropdown list.

For more information, see Adjustments on Limits in Hull Design.
-
Select Overlap to switch the panel to the other limit side.

Additionally, you make the Overlap entry in the Properties grid available.

-
Enter an Overlap value in mm, for example, 250.
The application extends the panel by 250 mm to enable the overlap.
