Add overlap to panel limit using Properties grid

Prerequisite

• Create panel using grid.

• Create stiffener at plane using grid.

• Define stiffener parameters using Properties grid.

• Create panel defining limits by stiffener and by plane

You can add an overlap to an already defined limit using the Properties grid.

1. On the Home tab in the Display group, select Properties to display the Properties grid.

   

2. In the Model Explorer on the panel defined by limits, expand the IBNDRY entry to display the defined limits.

   

3. Select the limit which is defined by the stiffener to display the properties of the limit in the Properties grid. In this example, it is ILM 1.

   

4. In the Adjustments line, select the arrow icon to display the dropdown list.

5. Select Overlap to switch the panel to the other limit side.

   

   And to make the Overlap entry in the Properties grid available.

   

6. Enter a Overlap value in mm, for example, 250.

   The application lengthens the panel by 250 mm to enable the overlap.
