Quick Import in Compare and Update

The Quick Import allows users to import data without loading the Compare/Update grid. It streamlines the import process and improves efficiency, especially for large datasets.

Note: Quick Import is available in AVEVA Unified Engineering - Engineer version 16.2.0.0 and later.

Steps to perform Quick Import in Compare/Update:

1. Launch AVEVA Unified Engineering - Engineer.

2. On the Manage tab in the Integration area, select the arrow icon adjacent to the Compare / Update / Link function to display the submenu.

   

3. Select Open compare/update.

   

   To display the Compare/Update ribbon.

4. On the Compare/Update tab in the Import area, select the source from the dropdown menu, for example, AVEVA Schematic.

   

5. In the Import group, select the destination from dropdown menu, for example, Schematic Pump.

   

6. Select arrow adjacent to Preview Import to display the sub-menu.

   

7. Select Quick Import to display the Compare and update window.

8. Select Import.

   A progress bar displays the import status. After import completes, you can see an Import Summary in the Compare and update window.
