On the Home tab, in the Common group, click Attributes, select General from the drop-down list to display the Query window. The options on the general query menu allows you to query current data settings.

The options under the top-left drop-down menu are:

Attributes |
Outputs the attributes of the current element. Position and orientation data is output using the coordinate system for the element displayed on the Wrt (with respect to) drop-down menu. |

Members |
Outputs a list of the members of the current element. |
|
Position |
Outputs the position of the current element with respect to the element displayed on the Wrt drop-down menu. |
|
Orientation |
Outputs the orientation of the current element with respect to the element displayed on the Wrt drop-down menu. |
|
Lists |
Outputs a list of all element types which can be created at the current position in the database. |
|
Variables |
Outputs the current settings of all global variables. |
|
Synonyms |
Outputs the current definitions of all synonyms. |
The options under the top-center drop-down menu are p-point numbers. Selecting one of these outputs the attributes of that p-point for the current element. Positions and directions are given with respect to the element displayed on the Wrt drop-down menu.
Note:
Some of the p-points do not exist for the current element. If you try to specify an
invalid p-point, you will see an error alert.
The Specific drop-down menu is only applicable when the current element has attributes which are specific to that element type. For example, if the current element is a Nozzle, the options under Specific is Bore, Direction and Connection. Select the attribute for which you want to output the value.
