Define Symbolic Representation Rules

The symbolic representation is defined using a RRST and RRULs in the same way as other view types. The RRST is positioned below a RPLB in the hierarchy.

The RRUL attributes can be defined using the Attributes window.

Set the RepStyle attribute to SymbolicSingleLoc to enable symbolic representation of advanced views.
The Styf attribute must refer to a Symbolic Style (SYMSTY) instead of a STYL. A SYMSTY is an element type that defines the settings that are necessary for symbolic representation.

The SYMSTY can be used to define colours and line types for each relative location.
The SYMSTY attributes can be defined using the Attributes window.

Each relative location attribute must refer to a SRLSTY element.
The relative locations are:

A SRLSTY is an element type that defines the colour and line type settings for a relative location.
The SRLSTY attributes can be defined using the Attributes window.

You can set the line type and colour for front face lines and obscured lines. Alternatively, enter an RGB line color using the format R 100 G 200 B 255. Front face lines are visible lines that are not hidden by any other model elements (in case you have global/universal hidden lines activated in the view). Obscured lines are the part of the geometry that is hidden. For example, if the Obstyle attribute is set to Off, obscured lines will not be drawn.
