Cable Tray List

The Cable Tray Volumes window lists the cable trays from the current zone and also displays the Head Connection and Tail Connection of each branch.

Select Level
Use to switch between World, Site or Zone levels in order to load trays for the selected level.
Refresh Grid and Track CE are common to both the Cable Tray List and Cableway Branch List tabs.

Refresh Grid |
Click Refresh Grid to re-display either grid to reflect any changes made that are not updated automatically. |

Track CE |
Tracks the current element in the Model Explorer. |
Right click in the grid to display the pop up menu.

Navigate |
Navigate to the element in the Model Explorer. |
|
Highlight |
Highlights the element in the graphical view. |
|
Unhighlight |
Removes the highlight from the element in the graphical view. |
|
Export to Excel |
Displays a Save As window to navigate to a location and name the exported Excel file. |

Print Preview |
Displays the Print Preview utility. |
Set Cableway Branch Att
Use to set cableway branch attributes prior to creating the volumes:
Description
Enter a description for the cableway branch element.
Function
Enter a function for the cableway branch element.
Purpose
Enter a purpose for the cableway branch element.
Cable Excess
Define how much of an allowance for sagging (when the cable is supported in the cableway branch) is required, default is 0.00.
Maximum Fill (%)
Define the maximum fill level on the cableway branch (the software automatically calculates this value based on the cross sectional area).
Height
Enter a height for the cableway branch element.
Bend Radius
Defines the bend radius, this can be set to Auto or Manual:

Auto |
The bend radius for each BEND/ELBOW is automatically calculated and assigned to the corresponding POINTR element. |

Manual |
Enter a bend radius of all POINTR elements, select if it is applied to the inner circle or centreline radius along with the units of measure. |
Interference
The functionality available is identical to that described in cableway. Refer to Cableway Inteference Class for further information.
Reset Fields
Use to reset all fields in Set Cableway Branch Att to the default values.
Storage Areas
Use to select the new CWAY/CWBRANCH elements are to be stored.
Load Zones
Use to populate a list of the available zones for the current element in the hierarchy. If a zone is not selected to create elements, the elements will be created in the same zone as the selected cabletray.
Show Associations Manager
To create the volumes, an association group with the purpose set to TBAS dedicated to store associations between old cabletray elements and new cabletray elements must exist.
If the association group does not exist, an error message is displayed informing the required association group needs creating.
When the association group exists a Confirm window is displayed, confirm the cableway volumes for the selected cabletray branches are to be created.
