Constraints consists of six buttons. It specifies the elements to be added for routed branches to ensure Generative Design AI does not include all elements.

  1. Add constraints.

  2. Add constraints under Current Element.

  3. Add constraints via filter expression.

  4. Add constraints through Drawlist.

  5. Remove constraints.

  6. Clear all constraints.

Add constraints launches a prompt that enables you to select and drag elements as constraints. Select Enter for the elements to be added to the table.

Add constraints under Current Element adds all elements owned by the Current Element to the list. For example selection of a ZONE will add all elements under the ZONE; selection of a PIPE will add all branch elements under the pipe.

Add constraints via filter expression opens a field for complex expressions to be added as constraints. For example, adding all pipes, equipment and sections to the elements in ALL EQUI.

Add constraints through Drawlist adds all the elements that are in the current view to the table.

Remove constraints - removes any selected constraints in the table.

Clear all constraints - clears all the constraints from the table.
