Create / Modify Text

Note

Input a note name or select a note from the drop-down list.

Alternatively, click CE to populate the field from the currently selected NOTE element in the Draw Explorer.

Keyword

Input a keyword to control the configurable text contents. A keyword represents specified data on the pipe spool drawing.

A keyword can be text that displays as a heading on the backing sheet or intelligent text. Refer to Add Text to Drawings for further information.

Expression

Input an attribute or PML function extract value.

Height

Input the height of the text displayed on the backing sheet.

Justification

Select a text justification position from the drop-down list.

Alignment

Select a text alignment position from the drop-down list.

Position

Input values to define the text position on the backing sheet the entered values are measured from the bottom left of the page. For example input a value of 50,50.

Click Pick Pos to define the text position using a picked point on the drawing canvas.

Colour

Select the text colour from the drop-down list.

Add

Click to add text to the backing sheet, the text properties are added to the list.

Edit

Click to modify the current text properties.

Delete

Click to delete the current text properties.
