Idler specification

  • Last UpdatedAug 13, 2024
  • 1 minute read

The belt specification has three spec blocks:

  • Trough idlers

  • V idlers

  • Flat idlers

These blocks are shown in this image of the Section Fittings Specification window:

Spec Block Rows displays Status, Own Type, Name, Specific Type, Catalogue, and Template columns

The GTYP must refer to the same GTYP as the belt type that the idlers are supporting.

The Name column holds the specification name, which is auto-generated using the Configure auto naming button. See the Specification documentation for more detail.

The Specific type is user-definable but it must be unique within the block.

The Catalogue is the SFIT name.

The Template is left unset.

Description

The Description attribute of an idler specification must be set to IDLER.
