Defining Connection, Bore and Number

  • Last UpdatedJan 13, 2023
  • 1 minute read

These three attributes are common to all three types of P-point elements, and are set by the PBORE, PCONNECTION and NUMBER (minimum abbreviations PBOR, PCON, NUM) commands respectively. PBOR and PCON may be set as parameter functions as well as words. Examples:

PBORE (0.5 * PARAM[2])

PCONN BWD

PCONN (PARAM[7])

NUMBER 3

If you do not define the bore or the P-point number, a value of zero is assumed.
