DIMDIST

Function:

Specifies distance between dimensioning lines and pipe/ component centrelines on the isometric plot (standout distance). Normally used to avoid overplotting lines on a complex isometric.

Description:

The default standout distances are: string dimensions 11mm; overall dimensions 16mm; support dimensions 6mm.

Note: These standout values may not be set to the same value. Also, the skewbox standout distances for dimension lines cannot be set to these values and vice versa.

Examples:

DIMDIST STRING 15

Sets standout distance for string/composite dimensions to 15mm.

DIMDIST STRING 0.5 INCH

Sets standout distance to 0.5 inch.

DIMDIST SUPPORTS 10

Sets support dimensioning standout distance to 10mm.

DIMDIST OVERALL 12

Sets overall dimensioning standout distance to 12mm.
