Warning pivot angle for pipe hangers. |
The default is associated with hangers and determines the angle above which a warning displays to the user. If the user attempts to support a section of pipe with a slope greater than or equal to the MDSPIVWARN angle, an error displays but the user is allowed to continue with the design process.
Note:
It is essential that the value of MDSPIVWARN is always less than the value of MDSMAXPIVA.
In the example, the user receives a warning alert, as the slope of the pipe is greater than the MDSPIVWARN angle but less than the MDSMAXPIVA angle.
Note:
The manufacturer’s hanger interface (Witch Hanger, LICAD and PSDesigner) overrides
these default settings.
