Manipulating Groups and Group Members

The group contents are controlled by the list of elements in the Group Members List and it is possible to build a group by adding or removing elements using the green plus icon or the red X icon. The group list can be built up of individual items by navigating to them and selecting the green plus icon to add them to the list.
Note:
Adding or removing items from the list does not change the group model until the user
builds or re-builds the group using the blue tick icon or one of the right mouse options
in the group list.
Example:
-
From the Process Simualtion Interface window, create a new group called List-Group.

-
Navigate to an item to add to the group and select the green plus icon to add it to the group.

-
Add other items through the same process (only branches and equipment can be members of a simulation group).

At any time, the group can be built from the list by selecting the warning icon. The yellow exclamation mark indicates that the group has unsaved items, when the group is up to date the tick turns to solid blue.
The Group Members List order can be changed by selecting an item in the list and pressing the up or down arrows to reorder them. Here /V1 is moved up in the list to be before /V2

Modifying the list order requires the group to be rebuilt so the tick button is now showing that the group has unsaved items and needs to be rebuilt.
At this point the group contents may be further edited by adding or removing items or changing the order of the list. Changes to the list do not automatically rebuild the group members so after any change it is necessary to press the blue tick icon to rebuild/reformat the group. Below the /level and /drain branches have been deleted and the group rebuilt.
