GRIL circular diffuser requirements

This topic describes the specification requirements to create a circular diffuser as a grille type component.

The Generic Type (GTYP) must be set to GRIL on the SCOM hierarchy level. For clarity, it is good practice to also set the GTYP to GRIL on the SECT and CATE levels.

A new component data element CMPD for the GRIL must be created in /AvevaHVACweights area. For example, you can copy an existing CMPD element and name it /SIMDUCT -CLASS-C-GRIL-Weight.
