Click the Visual Query Sets tab.

Visual Queries Configuration window with Visual Query Sets tab selected. For a selected query set, it displays its queries and the queries available to add to it.

In the Query Sets panel, you can add and remove query sets and specify the queries within them. If you prefer to list query sets in alphabetical order, for example, you can use the up and down arrows to reorder the list.

Note: However, the order of the queries within a set determines whether the set functions correctly.

Move selected query row up

Moves the currently selected visual query or query set up the order in the grid.

Move selected query row down

Moves the currently selected visual query or query set down the order in the grid.

Add new query row

Adds a new visual query row to the grid.

Remove selected query row

Removes the currently selected visual query row from the grid.

Use these options in the Queries in Set and Available Queries panels, :

Move selected set member row up

Moves the currently selected member query up the order in the grid.

Move selected member row down

Moves the currently selected member query down the order in the grid.

Add selected available queries to the set

Moves the currently selected available queries to the query set members grid.

Remove selected queries from the set

Moves the currently selected query set members to the available queries grid.

You can add a single query to multiple query sets.

Order of Queries within Query Sets

To achieve the required outcome when a query runs, you must correctly specify the order of the queries within a query set.

A query that relates to a lower level type must be positioned below a higher level type. For example, a query that displays VALVE and INSTRUMENT instances, must be positioned below a query that displays PIPE instances. If the valve and instrument query is positioned above the pipe query, the color of the pipe overrides the color of the valves and instruments.
