Draws a connector with specified connection points.
You are prompted to Select connector starting position or snap to connection point or
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the start point of the connector.
You are then prompted to Select connector position or snap to connection point to finish
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the point to which the connector is drawn.
If an object connection point is selected, a connector is drawn between the two specified points and the command ends automatically.
If an object snap point or a position on the drawing canvas is selected, you are then prompted to Select connector position or snap to connection point to finish <or Finish>
The prompt is repeated, allowing you to create multiple straight line connector segments.
Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command.
A connector is drawn and displays on the drawing canvas.
Throughout the connector creation process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Begin with shield |
Press the down arrow key and select Begin with shield to draw a connector with shield vertices at the start point of the connector. Refer to Draw Connector with Shield Vertices for further information. |

Turn on routing |
Click to turn on connection point routing. Refer to Status Bar for further information. |

Turn off routing |
Click to turn on connection point routing. Refer to Status Bar for further information. |

Back |
Press the down arrow key and select Back to undo the last action. |

End with shield |
Press the down arrow key and select End with shield to draw a connector with shield vertices at the end point of the connector. Refer to Draw Connector with Shield Vertices for further information. |

Finish |
Press the down arrow key and select Finish to end the command. |

The new CONNCT element displays in the Draw Explorer containing CNVRTX elements that represents each vertex of the connector.
