Add and Modify Drawing Objects

  • Last UpdatedApr 20, 2023

You can amend drawing sheets by adding and modifying drawing objects such as lines and circles (primitives).

When a 2D drafting element such as a primitive is added to a Sheet or View that does not own any Sheet Note or View Note elements, a new note is automatically created. The 2D drafting element is automatically placed under the new note.

If the Sheet/View owns a single note, the new element is automatically placed under that note.

If the Sheet/View owns multiple notes, the new element is added either to the currently selected note (for example, in the Draw Explorer) or to the first note listed in the Draw Explorer if none is selected.

Drawing commands are initiated by selecting the required command from the Fluent User Interface (typically the Draw tab or Home tab) or inputting the command directly on the drawing canvas to display the Context Editor. Refer to Context Editor for further information.
