Step Ladder Details

The Step Ladder Details part of the Create Step Ladder window is populated with data for the new SLADDR element.
Some of the fields in the Step Ladder Details window are populated with the defaults set by the administrator and others are populated with results of calculations made by the SLH application using the defaults file.
Note:
The functionality available is dependent upon the selected configuration.
Top Extension
The top extension can be any value between the minimum and maximum defaults.
The length of the top extension can be displayed in the 3D view.
Stringer Snipe
The stringer snipe length can be modified from the default value.
The stringer snipe length can be displayed in the 3D view.
Handrail Clear Width
The handrail clear width can be modified from the default value.
The handrail clear width can be displayed in the 3D view.
Bend Radius
The handrail bend radius width can be modified from the default value.
Top Post Offset
The top post offset can be modified from the default value.
The top post offset distance can be displayed in the 3D view.
Post Spacing
The post spacing can be any value below the maximum default.
The post spacing can be displayed in the 3D view.
Post Extension
The post extension can be modified from the default value.
The post extension distance can be displayed in the 3D view.
Exit Height
The exit height can be any value above the minimum default.
The exit height can be displayed in the 3D view.
Exit Extension
The exit extension can be modified from the default value.
The exit extension distance can be displayed in the 3D view.
Omit Handrail Exit Post
Select the check box to omit the handrail exit post from the Step Ladder assembly.
Terminate Handrail at Top Post
Select the check box to create a Step Ladder Assembly with the handrail terminating at the top post.
Click Build Step Ladder to create the new Step Ladder element.
Click Back to return to the Step Ladder Configuration part of the Create Step Ladder window.
Click Cancel to discard any inputs and close the Create Step Ladder window.
